But, I would have been at least a year into my business venture before they started wondering how I was able to do it! As you work towards your goals and reach your milestones , you begin to realize that your mindset differs from your peers. Your friends are not bad people. Instead, you begin to gravitate towards people that have goals aligned with yours.

Success is the product of unlocking your mind. It is what can elevate you from those who can never get up. Revenge can be the fuel to drive you to accomplish great things. Whether people have made you feel lesser than you are or have broken your heart, the ability to prove them wrong can be a motivator! When I was eight years old, my father walked out on my family. I heard through the grapevine that he moved across the country and started his own family.

For the longest time, I used that as my motivation. I achieved my goal by working hard in my career and made a six-figure salary as a software engineer. Unfortunately, that drive that is used to prove other people wrong can be for the sake of them and not necessarily for yourself. Fast forward in my life and I have now two beautiful children. They are one of my greatest successes and my primary motivators! My father is still somewhat a motivation, but only because I strive to be better than he ever was.

Instead, the path is a narrow road filled with obstacles. Every obstacle is a checkpoint asking you if you want to turn around and give up. Everyone wants to be happy and successful, but few are willing to put in the work to make it happen.

For example, the very first investment property I purchased got broken into the night before I was to have it reappraised. He is among the most marketed sports figures for endorsements and has found prosperity in the business world.

Success is very different for each of us. For some, it is becoming prosperous, and for others, it is finding security and peace. Understand what you want to achieve and go for it. Revenge can be an excellent motivator.

Let others who hurt you see you dust yourself and thrive. The early stages of success are so sweet. It fuels our enthusiasm to continue to work hard towards our goals. Resilience, hard work, and perseverance are traits need to achieve your goals.

Worthwhile goals motivate us towards fulfillment. You should waste no time or energy to deter you from accomplishing what you want. Find meaning in the project you are working on and visualize the success of completing your work. Anger and hurt take our energy away. You want the person who caused you pain to have their comeuppance. Concentrate on your eventual win. Rechanneling your negative emotions to positivity allows you to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

There is always something or someone who is there to derail your trip. Put yourself back on the road to success. Letting go of anger and angst is success in itself. Some may mean well, but others are trying to undermine your efforts by planting doubt. If you are working purposefully towards your goals, then prove the cynics wrong.

Our attitudes can help or hurt us, and we have the power to adopt a more favorable mindset. A person with a scarcity mindset blames the world for their mistakes and cannot accept failure. In contrast, those who have an abundance mindset have a positive outlook and see limitless opportunities. I did not let that fuel me. I wanted to be an Olympian, and all my fuel came from that.

There is a big difference! When what fuels you is someone's hate, it tends to bring you to a wrong place mentally. No different than any person with vengeance on their heart. They become blinded to the truth and what is the best situation. They only thing they know is that they want someone to pay. An excellent way to know if you have the right heart is by judging how you plan to act after victory.

If you want to celebrate in the faces of all the people who doubted you, then you have the wrong idea. A healthy heart is someone who can love an enemy. They may have said horrible things about you, but you are the first one to go and shake their hand.

It makes them look stupid, and it shines a bright light on your character. You are on top, and you have all the power to go hate and make them look dumb. Instead, you take the high road. Success is the best revenge because it puts you in a position to take the high road. When you can show someone that you are not bitter and that you went on to succeed anyway, it kills them inside. You leave them with a lesson they will never forget as you pour hot coals on their head.

You can forgive someone for doubting you or being mean, but it does not mean you need to forget. It makes your story that much better. Remember all the hate that has been dished in your name.
